We held the Product Showcase at the Hard Rock Casino. It gave us a great opportunity to have more detailed conversations with customers, clients and other guests. It was still busy, but less than the actual show.

This is a 2010 Dodge Ram with our new ZipRail Tonneau Cover, AMP Research PowerSteps and BedXtender. It’s owned by Bob Sanger from Superlift Suspension

Brand new fresh off the showroom floor, this Ford Raptor came from Gaudin Ford. It’s outfitted with Power Steps, Best Rail Tonneau Cover and Bed Step.

Adam Tomlinson from 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers owns this very sweet JK Unlimited. Adam evidently took a look at our catalog and just said “Yes.” His Jeep has our HighRock 4×4 front and rear bumpers with the approach rollers and grill guard, the JK Slider Steps, the Bestop Fuel Door, the Tailgate Rack, the dash kit, entry guards, InstaTrunk, Spare Tire Carrier, and Element Doors. Plus a few more things.

Finish Line West

Andy Cohen from Finish Line West lent us this JK for our product showcase. Plenty of goodies all over this rig, but it also includes Bestop Element Doors, Trektop and a HighRock 4×4 Universal Rack mounted over the spare tire. Stop by Finish Line’s web site to see their stuff. The product showcase was in a hotel ball room, and it was DARK. Should have had this guy use his overhead lights to help me take pictures.

Lower Forty gets a Bikini

MOPAR’s Lower Forty first showed up at Moab earlier this year. It has 40 inch tires with virtually no lift at all, just bodywork. That windshield is also slanted back, and the whole thing has a sports car vibe to it. A sports car on humongous tires. When last seen, the Lower Forty had no top at all, but at SEMA it was sporting this Bestop Bikini top. Specially made by our engineers to fit the slanted windshield and custom roll bar, and to keep the fast minimal look of this cool show car.

We’re all back from SEMA, and we had a great time. I’ll make several posts sharing our stuff from the show, and I’ll throw in some of the neat other things we saw.

Bob Anderson is known around here as “Safety Bob” - he’s in charge of plant safety. He borrowed one of the company UTVs to go on a hunting trip, and is sharing some of the photos with the Blog. I wonder if he made everyone wear steel toed shoes? Probably. He does tell us that the full cab enclosure on the UTV made the unexpected cold snap way more bearable.

Blackbeard’s JK with Element Doors

“Blackbeard” from the WranglerForum sends us these nice snaps of the new Element Doors he just got painted and installed on his ‘09 Wrangler. Here’s what he says:

“I received my Bestop/Highrock Element Door Kit last week, and just finished installing it about an hour ago. I was having the Enclosure Panels painted by a local Body Shop, and just picked those up Friday.

I’ll post some pics tomorrow, but I’m REALLY happy with the way they turned out. Much, much cheaper that the Factory Half Doors, and they look just as good to me! I ordered everything through Quadratec, and it all came in within a week. The kit I ordered was:

- Highrock Element Tube Doors w/Upper Door Windows
- Highrock Element Door Bags
- Highrock Element Enclosure Door Panels

I transferred the Stock Mirrors from the Full Doors to the Half-Doors, and they fit perfectly. I attached the Door Bags to the inside of the Doors, so I’ll have a little extra room for light storage items. After Adjusting the Upper Door Windows, and the Latches, it all fits great.

If anyone else is thinking about going with the Half-Doors, I highly recommend them!

“No, you call the insurance company”

We have a bunch of these “bucks” around the place, where they get used for fitting the tops. This one though, is out in the pallet storage area. I’m just wondering how they got it going fast enough to get into a head-on collision. (I’m also wondering why they keep saying that I’m not qualified to drive a fork lift.)

“Mntnbiker32″ sent us the picture below. It’s a photo he snapped of George’s big Jeep out at Left Hand Canyon. “I saw this jeep at Left Hand Canyon on Sunday,” he says. “It looked awesome and went through it pretty easy. This is the only picture I could get, it was pulling away from us pretty easily.”

This is proof of two things. George really is going to get that Jeep all dirty, and he forgot to invite me.
