Amidst growing concerns about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, our priority is the health and well-being of those choosing Home Installation services with their Bestop products and Buy It Installed craftsmen that perform these installations.

We encourage you to follow these recommendations with your order of Home Installation and Buy It Installed:

- IF YOU, THE CONSUMER, FEEL SICK OR HAVE COME INTO CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO IS SICK, POSTPONE YOUR HOME INSTALLATON - If you have a mild illness, respiratory symptoms, or have a fever (38 C or 100.4 F or above), we encourage you to stay home and keep away from others. We also encourage you to avoid scheduling a home installation if you believe that you have come into contact with anyone who has exhibited these symptoms or who has been diagnosed as contracting COVID-19. If you believe that you have been infected or come into contact with someone who has, after scheduling your home installation, please contact Buy It Installed to delay your installation for a later time. Email Buy It Installed at consumerservices@buyitinstalledmail.com or give them a call at (629) 444-2894, weekdays, 8 am - 5 pm (all time zones), and Saturdays from 8 am - 12 pm (PST). CRAFTSMAN have been advised to do all of the above as well.

- CRAFTSMAN PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT – Buy It Installed has encouraged their craftsman to use personal protection equipment whenever possible at service locations. Examples of this includes: gloves, goggles, face shields, face masks, and respiratory protection.

- CLEAN AND DISINFECT EQUIPMENT – Buy It Installed has recommended that craftsman pay special attention to surfaces that they frequently come in contact with in the process of installation. They will follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use of all cleaning and disinfection products (e.g., concentration, application method and contact time, PPE). To protect yourself and the craftsman it is recommended that you clean and disinfect all surfaces, tools, and materials that the craftsman come in contact prior to and after his/her visit.

- CUSTOMER CONTACT – Buy It Installed has encouraged their craftsman to utilize best practices in fulfilling service orders and restrict physical contact with other persons as much as practical. Craftsman have received recommendations that they avoid touching surfaces in or near customer homes as much as possible and to maintain at least six feet of distance from customers. For the safety of the craftsman, we request maintaining the same six feet of distance as a customer.

If you feel uncomfortable having the installation performed for safety reasons, you can choose delay your installation.
