Yes! Most Bestop soft tops are designed for DIY installation and can be installed in 2-4 hours with basic hand tools. We include detailed instructions, color-coded hardware, and pre-assembled components to simplify the process. Installation videos are also available on our website. For more complex models like the eTop, we recommend professional installation.
Bestop soft tops are engineered to minimize wind noise. Our premium fabrics, advanced bow systems, and double-bulb weather stripping create a quieter ride than budget alternatives. While soft tops may have slightly more road noise than hardtops at highway speeds, the difference is minimal with a quality Bestop installation.
Clean your soft top with mild soap and water using a soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and pressure washers. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before folding. We recommend treating with Bestop Protectant every 4-6 months to maintain water repellency and UV protection. Never fold or store a wet soft top.
We recommend hand washing for best results and longest life. If you must use an automatic car wash, choose touchless washes only. Avoid brush-style car washes as they can damage the fabric and windows. Always ensure zippers are fully closed and the top is properly secured before washing.
