"First disappointment was that the protectant in the kit is not recommended for use on twill fabric. My fault for not reading the fine print. Second disappointment was that both the cleaner and protectant state "PLEASE AVOID CONTACT WITH THE VINYL GLASS WINDOWS". What? Many convertible tops, including those sold by Bestop feature vinyl windows. Avoiding contact with vinyl windows when using the cleaner and protectant is not possible, especially when rinsing the cleaner off. Either change the product or modify the instructions to enable a reasonably easy use of the existing product."

Grrrrrrrrrreat product........WOW!!!

"I have a 90 YJ with a 5 year old top. I bought the kit a few months ago. Finally got around to cleaning it. This stuff is just amazing. Cleans really good and now the top has a nice satin sheen to it. Looks like new again. Window polish is awesome too. This kit really brought the top back to black. It was looking faded and dingy. In my opinion it is best to remove the top and clean it that way. I used a 6 foot fold up table. Best to do this in warm weather right before winter and late spring. Thank you BT."

"I’ve had my softtoper for over five years. It has been on my truck 95% of the time. I had forgotten how good it had looked when new. I found out that Bestop made products for cleaning and protecting my topper. I bought the products, used them as directed and what a difference the products made. My top looks as good as new. Will this work on the sail cloth?

Can this be used on a black soft top?
Hi Deb, Yes, as long as its not the black twill material.
I have an Accent top on my Jeep Wrangler .I like it very much but do not know how to use any of its options or positions.....
Hi Marc, The Ascent top has a sunrider feature, to put the top in that position, you unlatch the latches from the J hooks at the windshield then simply fold the front part of the top back!
Do you have this kit for twill?
Hi Joe, No, unfortunately we don't offer a Cleaner for the twill material, only a Protectant. For twill, we suggest Dawn Dish soap mixed with warm water.
Is this product compatible with the JT Gladiator Supertop Black Diamond material? It's not a twill material, it's a black diamond material.
