Bikini Tops are great, but if you want to put your soft top back on, the Bikini Top has to come off as well as the windshield channel. Sun Bikinis eliminate all that because it doesn't interfere with your regular soft or hard top and doesn't require a
separate, extra-cost windshield channel. It's like an interior sun shade you never have to remove, top up or top down. It offers filtered sunlight or even complete shade with the least amount of effort. Sun Bikinis strap into factory windshield header loops and center sport bar with J-Hook attachment to the upper door bars. Installation or removal is fast and easy. And the money saved in not needing a separate windshield channel can be put toward other Bestop accessories.

Bestop Sun Targa top

"I bought this top immediately after buying my 2 dr 2020 hardtop at the end of summer, got to enjoy it for a couple weeks before weather changes had me put the 2 Hardtop panels back on. The targa top was great , I do wish the rear straps were longer so they would be easier to attach."

"I purchased a mesh targa bikini top for my daughters 2018 Jeep JLU. The cover fits good but one of the screw/snaps was broken when I opened the box. After trying to get a hold of their customer service and leaving messages that are not followed through with on their end I will not purchase any more products from them."

Targa on Gladiator

"I really like the effectiveness of the screen. I burn like a drunken Brit on a Spanish beach, and faster than pork bellies on a cast iron skillet, so any protection at all is a plus for me. We haven't had much in the way of sunny days here yet, but so far this seems to be a very nice compromise of protection and open-air freedom. I'm very pleased that the Targa can remain in place when I close my soft top, and while it is necessary to detach the four leading edge magnets and turn back the leading edge of the targa in order to latch the top, it's quite simple to do while sitting in the driver's seat. I've discovered that I can then slip the leading edge of the Targa into the front of the soft top and it stays there snugly...but out of laziness I generally just fold the leading edge of the Targa over the top of the screen and let it hang (slightly - there's just a minor sag in the center-front, as there is no tension to support the leading edge once you "demagnet" it from the windshield frame). Not optimal for my OCD, but it's always a balance...be lazy/be OCD... The reason I give it only four stars is based on two quibbles I have with it. The first is that the rear straps are just sufficiently long enough to attach, and even with them extended as much as possible while still leaving a tiny tail to keep friction in the buckle I am getting pulling and a slight puckering at the center front of the screen. Still perfectly functional, just mildly annoying for my OCD... Maybe it will stretch a little over time... The second quibble is related to the first, in that since the rear strap seems to be a little short, the result is enough rearward pressure that the center magnets on the front edge often get pulled loose from the top of the windshield frame. The corner magnets remain in place, no problem, and the whole thing remains stable, so it's not any kind of a deal-breaker. Again, the whole thing remains perfectly functional, it's just...distracting...when I glance up and see the magnets looking back at me."

Does this fit under a bestop sunrider?: Hi Ian, No, the Sun Bikini does not fit under the Sunrider for Hardtop.
Can this be used with the Trektop Ultra Slantback top in place?: Hi Bob, From my understanding yes, however I would suggest checking with Customer Service to be sure, 800.845.3567.
This looks like a no-screws attachment for the gladiator but the instructions seem to be for a different vehicle, can you clarify the install (ie, do I need to bolt something on or is it all Velcro straps)?: Hi Karl, You have to remove 10 torx screws from the roll bar and replace those with snap stud screws in order for the straps in the kit to snap to so the Bikini can attach with buckle straps to those.
Are you able to open the sun rider soft top of this is installed under it?: Hi Jeremy, Unfortunately the Sun Bikini will not work in conjunction with the Sunrider for Hardtop.
Is this product available for the rear passenger compartment (gladiator)? I'd like to provide some shade for my dog when the top is down.: Hi Joseph, If you're wanting the back seat area to be shaded as well, then you'd want the Safari Style Bikini, part number 52614-35.
