"Finally decided to get the Supertop canvas canopy for our shortbed F150, and I should have gotten this when we bought the truck rather than a tonneau cover. The canopy looks great, fits perfect, after about 6 months the canvas is still looking and feeling like high quality stuff that should last a long time. The packaging was perfect and really helped make assembly easier. My 11 year old and I had it installed in under an hour."

Covered top for 2014 Ford F-150

"I use this top for my three Rhodesian ridgebacks to enjoy the ride in the back of my truck. I enclosed it with half inch hardware cloth that they wouldn't jump out. I drove from Georgia to Miami. It rained a little on our way going to Miami but I was able to stop install the windows and when the rain stopped I removed them. The quality of this product is superb."

2019 f150 canopy

"The first year owning it was great. I did have a problem with one of the rear corner mounts. The plastic broke while doing my install. I would fold it up and down every so often as I needed too. But recently I was re building it and one of the zippers broke and I’m not sure where to find replacement side panels to deal with that issue. The rear cab plastic window part also got super foggy and some how a hole happened while I had it folded down. I’m not sure how as I am pretty ocd about cleaning my truck including the box and nothing was inside the box the whole time I had it down. Honestly I am impressed with it. I just wish it lasted another 2-3 years before these issues since I paid 1300$ for it"

Perfect, except for .....

"I needed a cover for my muddy or sandy dog...along with keeping camping gear dry. This was perfect. I get lots of questions and positive comments. My problem is that I have a bed liner. The Bestop does not keep elements out of the front of the bed because it won't stay on the outside of the bed. I have tried duct tape, super duty velcro, a steel rod for weight and no luck. Maybe a long magnet? The fabric is not long enough to stay where it needs to stay over the front of the bed. Perhaps the 2023 versions have fixed this? I just don't know if my problem is due to the bedliner or not. If I could take it off and sew another length to it, I would. The elements do not get in anywhere else. My back window started going opaque after the first year. I cannot see out the back. I have had this product for 4 years. I put a protective solution on twice a year. No one suggested it, but it makes sense to do so. Except for the things mentioned, this is a good Bestop product and they probably already have made improvements."

"i love the top but it was damaged out of the box one of the bow's was bent some of the snaps on the bows are smashed and not usable and driver side window fits very poorly it will zip up but will not stay in the channel at the top so that allows it to leak very badly..i received this as present for Christmas i have had it on the truck about a week"

"I did the install myself, took me awhile and I used a YouTube video to walk me through it. The only issue is the top right corner of the clear plastic on the rear flap. I noticed a tear, plan to repair it with Gorilla Tape, but open for suggestions"

Q&A

What is the utility track?: Hi Donald, Its a track that is built into the truck bed during manufacturing, sometimes the placement of the Utili-Track can interfere with the clamps used for the rails that come in the Supertop for Truck kit.
Do you offer a dog/ window so the rear opening window on the truck will go threw to the topper?: Hi Patrick, Unfortunately not, the window on the Supertop for Truck is fixed so there is no access to the bed from the cab.
Can you get this soft top top fold into the bed so a roll up tonneau can be put on?: Hi Randal, No, unfortunately the Supertop for Truck isn't compatible with a Tonneau and couldn't stay on if you were to put a Tonneau on beings there is no Tonneau that uses the same rails. If you go with the Supertop for Truck 2, that one is compatible with our Tonneau since they use the same rails, however the Supertop for Truck 2 would have to be removed prior to putting on the Tonneau, but the rails would stay in place since the Tonneau utilizes the same rails.
