Okie Jeep

"Purchased this for the wife’s Jeep. Installation was easy, opening and closing is easy for guy but difficult for her. It did say that noise only increased by 2 decibels but it is a lot louder than that. Since this is our first soft top I have nothing else to compare it to but I am not a fan of"

Disappointed

"I was super excited to add a soft top to my Jeep Wrangler but I ended up being disappointed. I previously had a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with both the soft and hard top. It was easy to switch between the two tops and it was really easy to remove/lower the soft top to have an open/topless ride. This top from Bestop is NOT easily removed nor is it easy to open. I have to climb on top of the center console in order to open the top and it is so hard to push open. It is also difficult to access the rear cargo space since there is now a bar across the opening. In order to switch back to the hard top for winter it is going to be a 3+ hour process, not one I look forward to. Overall I am not happy with my purchase."

Installation was much easier than

"Installation was much easier than expected. The video helped tremendously. It went exactly as described (pleasant surprise!). Bring a friend. . . some parts are much easier with 2 ppl. This is one of those rare cases where the product is better than I could have hoped for. Fit, finish, performance, noise level - all great! I was shocked at how well it rides with the Sunrider flipped back (doesn't catch the wind even at 80mph!). Removing the back and side windows was likewise faster and easier than I'd expected. I'll definitely do that more often than I had originally assumed I would!"

"We love the top and didn’t have issues installing it but we cannot find a bag that will work for the windows. Nothing fits the back slanted window which is frustrating and disappointing."

"This is a great top. The YouTube video is excellent and far easier to follow than any written instructions. I installed the top myself following the video step by step. I completed the install easily in about 3hrs. I definitely would recommend letting the windows sit in the warm sun to soften up while completing the frame assembly as it will help their first assembly go a little easier."

Is this soft top compatible with the OEM hardotp? Or do you need to remove he entire top when swapping? Thank you.

Does this come in black diamond
Hi Louie, No unfortunately not, the Trektop Ultra is only available in the black twill.
Does this top work with the OEM "hardware" (i.e. rails, rear latches, rollbar connectors, etc)? I know Bestop makes the OEM soft top and the diagrams and pictures I've seen of the "hardware" looks identical.
Hi Brian, The Trektop Ultra uses its own specific hardware, it will not work with the OEM hardware.
